Busy!

Im so not good with keeping up to my blog and youtube atm, had lots of uni work to get started on so they've kinda been neglected. Gonna try keep up to them now! =]

Anyway, heres some pictures.

I painted this for my mums boyfriends tattoo studio as he wanted his shop name in grafitti writing, so i did this for him. It says Ink'd Up.

Hmm

I havent posted in a while, iv been really busy getting all sorted for the start of uni, which I started properly tomorrow!! eeek :) I still need to get quite a few things but i will sort those out soon. Student finance is pissing me off aswell, it is owned by the DEVIL!

I have also been in perfect health the whooooooole summer, and when it comes the time to start uni, i get a very bad cold! So i have been miserable all this week haha.

So, atm im in the middle of making a mood board to present to everyone on my course at uni to get to know each other a little better, im struggling with what pics to put on it, but i know its gonna have a load of glitter all over it! (Y)

Well theres not much else to say really, good summer, now just to get started with uni ... exciting stuff!! :D

Im So Excited!!!!!

So on Sunday, me and some friends are going to Party In The Park which is held at Temple Newsome in Leeds and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!! It will be such a fun day out, and the line up for the event keeps getting better and better!! The main people I am wanting to see there are N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder, Dizzee Rascal, JLS and Ironik :)

Im sure it will be sooooo much better than last year, as the music wasnt really my taste, and I also got VERY bad sunburn and i lost my phone aswell :( ... but I can just tell Im gonna enjoy this years event loads more!! eeeeeeee :)))))

Ok

So I picked up all the garments I have made in my second year at college studying fashion design on Wednesday along with all my other project work, and these pictures show everything I have made! :)

This is my digitally printed tea dress where i had to design the print for the fabric which would be made into the dress shape I designed.

This is just a little close up of my print, I was inspired by graffiti then came up with the idea of devil animals.

Next was our Menswear project where we had to make a pair of trousers and design a print for a t-shirt. This is the t-shirt I made which was circus themed so I researched into clowns. I still cant believe this went down the catwalk!! I liked it when i made it, but walking down the catwalk I was just like OMG! haha, but its different and stood out so I guess thats good :)

These were the trousers I made to go with the t-shirt which were "Rebelwear" inspired (They looked looooooooads better when they were on someone!). These actually didnt go down the catwalk, not sure why but my t-shirt went down with my friend Emilys trousers instead.

Our Final Major Project, we had to choose one of three words and I chose "Controversial" as they said to look into something you're interested in, so I chose make-up haha, then looked into Jodie Harsh to look at the dramatic make-up and colourways, and then finally into butterflies as I wanted more colourway ideas as well as wanting to look into symmetry.

This was one of the corsets that I made.

This skirt went down the catwalk at the annual college fashion show with the above corset.

So, thats everything :) ... Im gonna keep everything I have made but the two skirts as they were very easy to make so if I wanted to make another one it would be simple and quick to do and I have saved all of my patterns aswell. So as soon as I figure out how to use ebay i will sell them! :)

Well ...

Yesterday my friend emma decided to shave her head! Not completely, just the sides so she asked me to help, iwas actually really scared thinking i was goin cut her head open LOL, but i didnt. It looks so cool, she really can pull off things like that, so she now has a huge mohawk and she also shaved a heart into one side :) And on the way to her house OMG, we actually fried like and egg on that bus!!!! Why the HELL would they keep the heating on in that weather?!

But anyway, today we decided to go play tennis in a local park with our friend Sam, BAD IDEA! It was sooooooooo unbelievably warm!!! I really cannot handle the heat well at all, having ginger hair i burn like a chip so easy haha. But after a while, we went to play in the little kiddy play area, such fun! but some of those things are lethal for kids, I was clinging on for dear life on this mini roundabout when I would not have been going fast at all but it feels so much faster when you look up to the sky haha. We also had an ice cream, YAY!!

We had a bit of a wander through the "forest" (only way to describe it really), doing a bit of exploring which was fun, as is trying to climb trees. Then they found a little area to play badminton in while I chilled under a tree with my tunes haha :)

So yeah, fun day really :) ... i love summer, excluding the heat!!

last day at college ...

I have now FINALLY had my official last day at college and i am sooooooooo happy. I have enjoyed this course and got a lot out of it and met some really amazing people, but after a while i just got sick of the whole process of each project and it just wore me out! I really love all the things that i have made from these projects and once i get them back after my review next Wednesday I will post pictures of them.

Also, sad day, Micheal Jackson died! When I heard that i was like "No waaaaaaaaay!", i didnt believe, but omg its true, I was so shocked!

So, today I have nothing else to do, so as I have got some free time on my hands and have no more work to stress over about finishing, i can FINALLY get my music re-uploaded onto my iTunes on my new computer which will take so So SO long as I have over 5000 songs, but it really needs doing as I am sick of listening to my iPod with my headphones in when im at my computer as they hurt my ears, haha, they are too big and my ears are kinda very small!

So ...

The fashion show on Wednesday last week went really well and was fun. My mum, sister, granny and great antie came along and enjoyed it, but, my camera was still deciding not to work so i didnt manage to get pictures of my garments on the catwalk, although in the local paper, one of my outfits was in an article about the fashion show so thats good :)

Also the end of year show on the friday was fun aswell. I dressed up in one of the corsets I made with a tutu and pink leg warmers and black stilletos along with some other girls from the first year of my course, who dressed in the corsets they made for their corset project. We had to stand inside and ice cream van, wave at people then get out and hand them cocktails, which were reaaaaaaally good :) haha. Then we had to blow bubbles around aswell, then walked around the college looking at other people work that they had done.

Iv kinda officially finished college now, i will have to go back in at some point for a review and then im finished to chill for the summer!! Then uni in september which im super excited for :)

Fashion Show

So, our college fashion show is tonight and im SUPER excited, its gonna be so much fun seeing everyones things on the catwalk!!We didnt get to see the show last year as we were runners backstage, so this year im an usher so i get to watch it, yay :) ... and get drunk (Y)

Ok, so my first blog, not sure what to say really but ill be just posting random things up on here and talking crap really, so it may be interesting, it may not, but either way ill carry on haha :)
